The Sara Bjørklund Agency started out as an independent tourbooking agency in January 2004. Originally the agency was based in Groningen (NL) but moved to Berlin (GER) in January 2007.
Nowadays we offer tour booking, tour management and tour preproduction.
Some highlights: we were involved with multiple European tours of The Chariot (USA), the first one together with Architects (UK). We did 2 European tours with This Beautiful Republic (USA). We booked the entire European tour of Silence the Foe (NO) in 2006. In 2009 we booked part of the summertour of William Fitzsimmons (USA). Furthermore we did 12 tours with The Spirit That Guides Us (NL), with more to come. Also we stood at the beginning of the careers of artists like The Hot Stewards (NL/DK) and Kim Janssen (NL). Other artists we've had the pleasure of working with include Callisto (FI), Shikari (NL), Jeniferever (SE), Rue Royale (USA/UK), This Town Needs Guns (UK), Showbread (USA), Benea Reach (NO), At The Close Of Every Day (NL) and many more!
Our main focus is on the Northern Europe area. This includes the following countries: the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Italy, France and Romania.
Q: I want to book one of the bands on your roster for a show, what do i do?
A: E-mail us at info@sarabjorklund.de with your offer/ideas and we'll get right back to you! On weekdays usually within the hour but normally at least within 24 hours. If you need an answer immediately, just give us a call!
Q: I am in a band, can we send promo and be added to the Sara-roster?
A: If you are a talented, ambitious and hard-working band/artist please send us an e-mail with an url to your Bandcamp or similar page. No MySpace links anymore though! Don't send us a cd or promo-package unless we ask for it! If we REALLY like you, and we have some room in our roster for new bands then there is definitely a possibliity of some kind of cooperation. Bear in mind we prefer working with artists who are signed to a decent record-label. Styles we book range from hardcore, screamo, some metal, emocore to indie, singer-songwriter, emo, alternative, acoustic and pop. We don't like jazz, reggae or world music.
